Community Projects

When Covenant Christian Academy moved to its Chestnut Hill campus, the building was already a community meeting place.  The school is still the meeting place for the local Ruritan Club, and the Chestnut Hill Horse Club holds an annual show on the CCA grounds. The school is reaching out to involve the community in activities such as, “See You at the Pole Day,” an annual Veteran’s Day Program, and Christmas and Easter drama/music programs. The community also supports other school endeavors such as bake sales and pancake breakfasts.

Away from campus, students also participate in various community projects and activities.  The National Day of Prayer Program in downtown Dandridge features CCA students leading pledges and singing for the community.  High school students participate throughout the year in work for Habitat for Humanity, visits to the Jefferson County Nursing Home, and Appalachian Outreach.
